SAHIWAL (RPO Office Spokesperson): On the directions of Regional Police Officer Sahiwal, Muhammad Ayaz Saleem, a comprehensive, informative, and awareness-based seminar on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) was organized at the Regional Training Center, RPO Office Sahiwal.
A large number of police officers and officials from across the Sahiwal Region participated in the session. During the seminar, participants were given a detailed briefing on laws related to Intellectual Property Rights, including various aspects of copyright, trademark, and patent laws. Practical guidance was also provided on effective action against counterfeit and illegal products, investigation procedures, and legal requirements.
The speakers emphasized that the protection of Intellectual Property Rights is vital for the stability of the national economy, promotion of lawful businesses, and safeguarding public rights. Police officers were directed to ensure effective implementation of IPR laws and to take indiscriminate action against those involved in violations.
