SAHIWAL (Special Reporter) — The Commissioner of Sahiwal Division, Dr. Asif Tufail, officially inaugurated a newly established bank booth at the Sahiwal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE). This initiative aims to eliminate the difficulties students face during fee submission and to provide them with modern, hassle-free facilities.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Director of Development and Finance Shafiq Ahmed Dogar, Board Secretary Ghulam Hussain Bhatti, and Controller of Examinations Dr. Rana Naveed Azmat.
Provision of Modern and Easy Facilities is Top Priority: Commissioner Sahiwal
Speaking to the media and officials after the inauguration, Commissioner Dr. Asif Tufail stated:
“With the establishment of this bank booth at the education board, students and their parents will no longer have to travel far to pay their fees; they will now have easy access right within the board’s premises. Providing modern, fast, and convenient facilities to students is our top priority.”
He strictly directed the bank management and relevant authorities to ensure that the staff deployed at the booth behave courteously with visiting students and applicants, resolving their matters on a priority basis.
Detailed Inspection of One-Window Operation Cell and Facilitation Center
Following the inauguration, Commissioner Dr. Asif Tufail conducted a detailed inspection of the One-Window Operation Cell and the Facilitation Center inside the board office to review the services being offered to students.
Official Briefing: During the visit, Controller of Examinations Dr. Rana Naveed Azmat briefed the Commissioner regarding the various online and manual services, the issuance of certificates, and other administrative operations.
Directives for Immediate Resolution: After the briefing, the Commissioner ordered the on-site officials to resolve student grievances immediately so they do not have to make repeated visits for routine official tasks.
Strict Adherence to Timings: He further emphasized that the bank booth and all other facilitation counters must remain fully functional during designated office hours to ensure that students traveling from far-flung areas do not lose precious time
