Sahiwal Board Approves Budget, Vows to Speed Up Paperless System

Sahiwal — The Board of Governors and Finance Committee of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Sahiwal met this week. Sahiwal Division Commissioner Dr. Asif Tufail chaired the meeting. The board approved its annual budget for the fiscal year.

Board Secretary Ghulam Hussain Bhatti attended. So did Controller of Examinations Dr. Rana Naveed Azmat, along with other senior officials.

Modernizing Office Operations

The meeting focused on bringing the board’s office work up to modern standards. Officials reviewed three main areas:

  • Paperless system. The board wants to run its paperless working system more effectively at the office.
  • One-window operation. This service helps students get things done without running from desk to desk. Officials discussed ways to speed it up.
  • Certificate printing. The board plans to modernize how it prints degrees and academic certificates, so students get them on time and without errors.

Commissioner’s Directives

Dr. Asif Tufail didn’t mince words. He told officials to use modern technology to make the board’s work more transparent, faster, and easier for the public. The goal, he said, is simple: give students good service without the hassle. Nobody should have to keep visiting offices just to sort out their academic paperwork.

By the end of the meeting, officials had also discussed several proposals to improve the board’s development and make the exam system more transparent. They approved a plan for moving forward.
