SAHIWAL (January 02, 2026) – Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sahiwal, Muhammad Ayaz Saleem, visited the Sahiwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) today to discuss security measures and reinforce cooperation between the police and the business community.
Upon his arrival, the RPO was warmly welcomed by the President of the Chamber, Sheikh Azmat Saleem, along with other prominent members and office bearers.
Strengthening Police-Business Synergy
The meeting focused on a comprehensive review of the law and order situation in the region. Key points of discussion included:
Improving security protocols for industrial zones and commercial markets.
Enhancing the protective environment for traders to ensure business continuity.
Strengthening the partnership between the police department and the SCCI for rapid response.

Addressing the members, RPO Muhammad Ayaz Saleem highlighted the vital role of the business community in the national economy. He stated:
“Industrial activities provide a source of income for thousands of families. Therefore, protecting our industries is synonymous with protecting the livelihoods of the common people.”
He further assured the delegation that security arrangements in industrial areas are being made more effective and proactive to eliminate any fear or uncertainty within the business sector.

President SCCI, Sheikh Azmat Saleem, expressed his appreciation for the police’s initiatives in curbing crime and maintaining peace in the city.
