CHICHAWATNI (Sahiwal News – Voice of Okanwala Bangla): District Police Officer (DPO) Sahiwal, Muhammad Usman Tipu, has taken immediate notice of an application filed by Mumtaz Bibi and directed Okanwala Bangla police to register a case and ensure the arrest of the accused.
According to details, a video posted on social media by Mumtaz Bibi, a resident of Chak 105/12-L, Chichawatni, went viral. In the video, she alleged that an individual from her village, identified as Malik Shiraz, had been harassing her daughters.
Taking prompt action on the viral video, the DPO Sahiwal ordered legal proceedings on Mumtaz Bibi’s complaint. She had also submitted a written application at Okanwala Bangla Police Station regarding the harassment of her daughters by the accused.
Following the DPO’s directives, an FIR has been registered and orders have been issued for the early arrest of the suspect. DPO Muhammad Usman Tipu emphasized that resolving public grievances on a priority basis and ensuring timely legal action upon receipt of complaints remains a top priority of the police.
