Section 144 Imposed in Sahiwal to Ensure Transparency in Nursing and Allied Health Exams

In a move to ensure the transparency and peaceful conduct of professional examinations, the Deputy Commissioner of Sahiwal, Captain (R) Samiullah Farooq, has imposed Section 144 across the district. The restrictions are set to remain in place until January 16, 2026.
Examination Schedule and Scope
The examinations, which include BS Nursing, DPT, MLT, HND, and RN, commenced on December 29, 2025, and are scheduled to continue through mid-January. The primary focus of these security measures is the examination center established at Government High School 89/6-R, Sahiwal.
Strict Restrictions Under Section 144
According to the official notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner’s office, the following restrictions are now strictly in effect:
Restricted Entry: Only candidates with valid roll number slips and authorized examination staff are permitted within a 100-yard radius of the examination center.
Ban on Protests: All forms of protests, rallies, or public gatherings are strictly prohibited in the vicinity to prevent any disruption of law and order.
Prohibited Items: Candidates and staff are barred from carrying mobile phones, digital diaries, books, guides, or any solved papers into the center.
Zero Tolerance for Cheating: The administration has warned of strict legal action against any individual—student or staff—found using or facilitating unfair means.
Administrative Directives
Deputy Commissioner Samiullah Farooq stated that these preventive measures were indispensable to eliminate the risk of any untoward incidents and to maintain the integrity of the academic process.
He has directed the District Administration and Sahiwal Police to ensure the rigorous implementation of this order. Furthermore, the public has been urged to cooperate with the authorities to facilitate a peaceful environment for the students.
