CEO Education Pakpattan Demands Justice for Slain Teacher

PAKPATTAN – The educational community in Pakpattan is reeling from shock and grief following the brutal murder of Rehana Yasmin, a dedicated teacher at the Government Girls High School City Pakpattan.
In a powerful statement, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Education Pakpattan, Ms. Shazia Rafique, expressed profound sorrow and anger, describing the incident as a “dark stain on humanity.”
“An Act of Social Barbarism”: Shazia Rafique
In her condolence message, CEO Shazia Rafique condemned the act in the strongest possible terms. She highlighted the sanctity of the teaching profession and the horror of such violence.
“A teacher nurtures future generations. To subject such a person to this level of cruelty and brutality is the height of social barbarism. This incident is not only heartbreaking but is a moment of reflection for all of humanity. Such savagery cannot be tolerated in any civilized society.”
Urgent Appeal to High Authorities
Ms. Rafique has made an urgent appeal to the Government of Punjab and law enforcement agencies to ensure justice is served swiftly. Her primary demands include:
Immediate Intervention: A request for Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, and the IG Punjab to take immediate notice of the incident.
Transparent Investigation: A call for a transparent, high-speed, and impartial inquiry into the murder.
Exemplary Punishment: The immediate arrest of the perpetrators, demanding they be made an example of to deter such crimes in the future.
She emphasized that swift justice is essential to restore a sense of security among teachers and citizens alike, ensuring that peace and the rule of law prevail.

Paying tribute to the deceased, the CEO described Rehana Yasmin as an exceptionally capable, hardworking, and dignified educator. She noted that Yasmin’s contributions to education would be remembered long after her passing.
