SAHIWAL – In a daring and alarming incident, a young woman was kidnapped in broad daylight from the premises of the Imtiaz Mega Shopping Mall within the jurisdiction of the Yousafwala Police Station.
Incident Details
According to reports, the victim, identified as (A Z), a resident of Chak 84/5-L, had gone to the mall for shopping with her brother, (M). The victim is the niece of a local landlord, (M A).
Witnesses and family sources state that the incident occurred when (A Z) went to the mall’s washroom area. Unknown assailants reportedly intercepted her, forced her into a waiting car, and sped away before security or bystanders could intervene.
Legal Action
Following the incident, the Sahiwal Police, specifically the Yousafwala Police Station, registered a formal case under Section 365-B of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) on the complaint of the victim’s maternal uncle, (M A).

Investigation Status
Despite the registration of the First Information Report (FIR), the police have yet to find a lead on the suspects. Sources indicate that investigators are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the mall and surrounding areas to track the escape route of the vehicle.
