Chichawatni (SahiwalNews.com) DPO Sahiwal Muhammad Usman Tipu held a meeting with a delegation of the Christian community at the SDPO Office Chichawatni.
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held regarding foolproof security arrangements for churches and other sensitive places on the occasion of Christmas.
On this occasion, the DPO Sahiwal stated that Christmas is an important religious festival of the Christian community, and that Punjab Police and the Government of Punjab believe in ensuring the protection of followers of all religions.
He further said that Sahiwal Police is actively promoting interfaith harmony and maintaining close coordination with all communities through the platform of the Misaq Centre.
He expressed the commitment that foolproof security arrangements are being made for Christmas so that no untoward incident may occur.
While extending advance Christmas greetings to the Christian community, he expressed hope that they would celebrate their religious festival in a peaceful and pleasant environment.
At the end of the meeting, DPO Sahiwal Muhammad Usman Tipu cut a Christmas cake along with the delegation of the Christian community. On the occasion, SDPO Chichawatni Circle Saleem Khan was also present.
