According to local sources, the tragic incident occurred in Village 112/12-L, a suburban area of Chichawatni. Witnesses and sources indicate that a verbal spat between the couple escalated rapidly. In a fit of rage, the woman reportedly poured petrol—which was present in the house—over her husband and ignited it, causing him severe burn injuries.
Medical Treatment and Condition
Upon hearing the victim’s screams, neighbors rushed to the scene and managed to extinguish the flames. The injured man was immediately transported to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Chichawatni by Rescue 1122.
