Under-Construction Cancer Hospital in Sahiwal to Be Completed by June 2026

The Cancer hospital Sahiwal is being built with the cooperation of the Farishta Trust on modern lines, and it will be handed over to the Government of Punjab immediately after its completion.
To review the progress of the construction work, Commissioner Sahiwal Asif Tufail chaired a meeting in his office. The meeting was attended by Additional Commissioner Coordination Dr. Saifullah Bhatti, CEO Health Dr. Abdul Majeed Niazi, and philanthropists from the Farishta family.
Important decisions were made in the meeting to further accelerate the pace of construction. The Commissioner directed the formation of a special committee to supervise the project. This committee will be headed by the Additional Commissioner Coordination, while the CEO Health and a medical engineer will also be part of it.
He pledged to personally monitor the construction work regularly so that the project can be completed ahead of schedule.
Dr. Asif Tufail appreciated the Farishta family’s contributions to the construction of the cancer hospital and said that the expert team that built the cancer hospital in Lahore will also be engaged to ensure that a state-of-the-art cancer hospital is established in Sahiwal, equipped with modern facilities for patients.
This development is a ray of hope for the millions of people in Sahiwal and nearby areas, where advanced treatment facilities for this disease will soon be available.
