SAHIWAL (News Desk) – Commissioner Sahiwal Division, Dr. Asif Tufail, conducted a detailed visit to the newly constructed Cambridge Campus building at the Divisional Public School and College (DPS). The visit aimed to review the quality of construction and ensure the swift commencement of academic activities in the state-of-the-art facility.
Inspection and Directives
During the visit, Dr. Asif Tufail was accompanied by Director Development Shafiq Ahmed Dogar, Additional Commissioner Coordination Dr. Saifullah Bhatti, DPS Principal Akbar Ali, and various board members.
The Commissioner meticulously inspected different sections of the building. He issued immediate directives to wrap up the remaining renovation work, emphasizing that the Cambridge Campus must be made fully functional without delay to provide students with a modern learning environment.
Project Completion and Handover Ceremony
Marking the successful completion of the project, the contractor distributed sweets and offered special prayers. In a formal ceremony, the keys to the new building were officially handed over to the school administration. This handover is being hailed as a significant milestone in the institution’s ongoing expansion and modernization.

Following the inspection, Commissioner Sahiwal held a meeting with the various Section Heads of DPS. During the discussion, he highlighted several key priorities:
