Four Girls, Including Class 9 Student and Newlywed Bride, Abducted in Sahiwal

SAHIWAL: Four girls, including a Class 9 student and a newlywed bride, were abducted in separate incidents reported from different areas of Sahiwal and Chichawatni, police said on Tuesday.

According to police, the abductions occurred within the jurisdictions of Farid Town Police Station in Sahiwal, Shahkot Police Station in Chichawatni, and Harappa Police Station.

In the first incident, a 16-year-old girl, daughter of Muhammad Nawaz—an employee of an office-bearer of a political party—was allegedly abducted by unknown suspects from the Green Bus Stop in the Farid Town area.

In another case reported from Chak 92/6-R, Munir’s wife and daughter, identified as (A), were asleep at their home when suspects Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Akhtar, Haq Nawaz, and Khurshid Bibi allegedly forced their way into the house at around 2 a.m. at gunpoint. The suspects reportedly abducted the girl and fled in a car.

Meanwhile, in the outskirts of Chichawatni near Adda 90 Morr, a Class 9 student identified as (H) was allegedly abducted at gunpoint by Munib, Zeenat, and two unidentified accomplices, who reportedly forced her into a pickup van and escaped.

In a separate incident in Chak 188/9-AL, a newlywed bride was allegedly abducted by suspects Daniyal Rehmani, Akhtar, and unidentified accomplices, who forced her into a car and fled the scene.

Police said separate cases have been registered under Sections 365-B and 496-A PPC on the complaints of Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Munir, Wazir Ali, and Maina Bibi. Investigations are underway, and police have so far arrested two suspects in connection with the cases.
