Petrol Price in Pakistan increased by Rs. 4.80 per liter
The new prices of petroleum products will be effective for the next fifteen days.

Islamabad (SahiwalNews.com) The Government has quietly increased petrol price in Pakistan and high-speed diesel. According to the official notification, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs. 4.80 per liter, while the price of high-speed diesel has gone up by Rs. 7.95 per liter.
According to the statement issued by the Ministry of Finance, the new prices of petroleum products will be effective for the next fifteen days. Under the new rates, the price of petrol has been set at Rs. 258.43 per liter, and high-speed diesel at Rs. 262.59 per liter.
The price hike has been implemented based on recommendations from OGRA (Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority) and came into effect on June 16, 2025.
The opposition has criticized the government’s decision, stating that it will trigger a storm of inflation, which the ruling clique seems completely unconcerned about.
