SAHIWAL – Following special directives from Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal, Shahid Mahmood, the District Education Authority (DEA) convened a high-level meeting to expedite the long-awaited promotion of teachers across the district.
The session, chaired by Chief Executive Officer (Education) Tanveer Ahmed Ghazali, focused on a comprehensive review of promotion applications submitted by educators seeking advancement to higher administrative and teaching tiers.
Breakdown of Promotion Cases
The committee meticulously evaluated a total of 201 cases, ensuring each met the required departmental criteria. The distribution of the cases reviewed is as follows:

The CEO has issued strict instructions to the relevant officers to conclude the administrative legwork immediately. He emphasized that the final Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting must be held without delay to officialize the appointments.
