Delegation of the Ittehad-Bain-ul-Muslimeen-Committee visits Sahiwal

The caravan will be led by Convener of the Ittehad Bain-ul-Muslimeen Committee Punjab.

On the special directive of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, caravans of religious scholars are being dispatched across the province during Muharram to spread the message of peace and harmony.

As part of this initiative, a delegation of the Ittehad-Bain-ul-Muslimeen-Committee Punjab will arrive in Sahiwal on Saturday, June 21.

The caravan will be led by Convener of the Ittehad Bain-ul-Muslimeen Committee Punjab, Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Pakistan, and Khateeb & Imam of Badshahi Mosque Lahore, Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad.

Members of divisional and district peace committees, religious scholars from various schools of thought, spiritual leaders, and administrative officers will attend the meeting. The purpose of the gathering is to ensure inter-sectarian harmony, brotherhood, and peace during Muharram.

In a message, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad emphasized that it is a shared responsibility to promote tolerance, patience, and unity in society while honoring the sanctity and message of Muharram.

He urged religious scholars, spiritual leaders, civil society, and the administration to work together to maintain an atmosphere of peace during this sacred month.
