Six Girls, Including Two Students, Abducted from Sahiwal and Chichawatni

SAHIWAL (Crime Reporter): Six girls, including two students, were allegedly abducted at gunpoint from different areas of Sahiwal and Chichawatni. Police have registered separate cases and launched investigations, but no recovery or arrests have been made so far.

According to police sources, in Gulshan Ali Housing Colony, two unidentified armed men forcibly abducted a girl identified as (S) on Wednesday evening and fled in a car.

In Chak 144/9-L, Samuel’s daughter was allegedly abducted at gunpoint by Simon Masih, Sana, Maria, Vikram, and Imran from Dera Sheikh Munir Bhutta Khasht. The suspects reportedly also took cash amounting to Rs385,000 and jewelry.

In another incident in Chak 16/11-L, the daughter of a landlord, a first-year student identified as (T), went to attend tuition classes at the residence of Hafiz Rashid. While returning home, she was allegedly abducted by three unidentified men.

In Farid City, Farid Town, the 18-year-old daughter of a contractor, identified as (F) and also a student, was allegedly abducted by Ali Hassan, Tayyaba Shafiq, Ayesha Shafiq, and Shazia, who fled in a car. The suspects reportedly took Rs1.57 million in cash along with jewelry.

In Chak 89/6-R, a married woman identified as (G) was allegedly abducted by her class fellow Ayesha Naveed along with three unidentified accomplices. The suspects reportedly took Rs3.2 million in cash and documents of a six-marla house.

In Chak 62/4-R, the daughter of a landlord, identified as (L), was allegedly abducted from her home by Talha Saeed, Imran, Sabir, and two unidentified men. The suspects reportedly looted Rs300,000 in cash, jewelry worth Rs2.64 million, and a mobile phone before fleeing. Police said the abducted girl was married to Muhammad Kamran, but her rukhsati had not yet taken place.

Police stations Galla Mandi, Dera Rahim, Saddar Chichawatni, Farid Town, and Noor Shah have registered six separate cases under sections 365-B and 496-A of the Pakistan Penal Code on the complaints of Danish Ahmed, Samuel Masih, Asghar Ali, Muhammad Ramzan, Hafizullah, and Muhammad Hussain.

Investigations are underway; however, no abductee has been recovered and no suspect has been arrested so far.
