Chichawatni City Police Station registered a case against violence
Shahnaz Bibi, an elderly resident of Block No. 15, filed a complaint at Chichawatni City Police Station.
In Block No. 15, a stepson, along with his wife, assaulted his elderly mother and tore her clothes. Chichawatni City Police Station registered a case and arrested the accused.
According to details, Shahnaz Bibi, an elderly resident of Block No. 15, filed a complaint at Chichawatni City Police Station stating that her stepson, Ali Umair, and his wife forcefully entered her house.
The accused tried to force her to put thumb impressions on property documents. Upon her refusal, Ali Umair and his wife assaulted the elderly woman by pulling her hair and tearing her clothes.
The victim, Shahnaz Bibi, further alleged that her stepson pointed a pistol at her with the intent to kill. Due to the intervention of neighbors, the accused fled with Rs. 34,000 in cash and her national identity card.
Upon learning of the incident, a young lawyer, Adeel Khalid Manj, reached the elderly woman and, taking legal action, helped register a case against Ali Umair and his wife at the City Police Station Chichawatni, leading to the arrest of the accused.
