BISE Sahiwal approves annual Budget for the year 2025–26
The estimated income of BISE Sahiwal has been projected at Rs. 1.74 billion.

The annual budget for the year 2025–26 of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE Sahiwal) has been approved.
Sahiwal board’s estimated income has been projected at Rs. 1.74 billion, while the estimated expenditures stand at Rs. 1.998 billion.
A key highlight of the budget is the solarization project of the board’s newly constructed building. It is expected to result in significant savings on electricity bills.
The budget was approved in the meeting of the Board of Directors, chaired by the Chairperson of the Board and Commissioner of Sahiwal Division, Dr. Asif Tufail.
Participants of the meeting included Director Development and Planning/Board Focal Person Shafiq Ahmed Dogar.
Board Secretary Fayaz Salimi, Controller of Examinations Dr. Rana Naveed Azmat and Board Auditor Mukhtar Ahmed also participated.
Board members including Vice Chancellor of the University of Sahiwal Professor Dr. Javed Akhtar and Director Colleges Dr. Andaleeb were also present.
CEOs of School Education Tanveer Ahmed Ghazali, Muhammad Yasin Khan Baloch, and Muhammad Yousaf also participated.
According to budget details, the major sources of income for the board are examination fees and the registration of educational institutions. It is estimated at Rs. 739.6 million and Rs. 572.4 million respectively.
Most of the expenditures relate to salaries and the conduct of examinations. The meeting also approved revisions to the board’s processing fees, certificate fees, and development fees.
The Board of Governors approved one basic salary as a bonus for the officers and employees involved in preparing the budget. They also added with a 10% increase in salaries in line with the Punjab Government’s employee pay raise.
