20 Ajwa Fun Land Security Guards booked for Detaining Family

Sahiwal: Yousafwala Police have registered a case against 20 security guards of Ajwa Fun Land. The accused are alleged to have confined a family in a room for two hours.

According to details, Usman Shahzad, his wife Anam Saeed, and their three children—Dawood (12), Amina (11), and Yusuf (6)—visited the amusement park located in Ajwa City, Chak 84/5L.

During their visit, a security guard noticed a child entering Ajwa Fun Land without a ticket. The family offered to purchase a ticket, but the guard allegedly used offensive language, leading to a verbal altercation.

Eyewitnesses reported that the argument escalated, and additional park management staff and security guards arrived at the scene. Instead of resolving the matter, they reportedly confined Usman Shahzad’s family in a hall. The situation became tense, prompting the affected family to contact the police helpline (15). The police arrived at the scene and freed the family from the guards’ custody after nearly two hours.

Yousafwala Police have registered a case against Ajwa Fun Land’s Chief Security Guard Sarfaraz Pathan and 19 members of his management staff under Sections 342, 506, 354, 148, and 149 of the PPC, based on the complaint of the affected family. Despite the case being filed, no arrests have been made so far.

It is worth noting that this amusement park is owned by Shaukat Kuba, who also runs a famous Naswar brand and departmental store franchise in Sahiwal.
