AC visits the city after heavy rainfall in Sahiwal

Following the heavy rainfall in Sahiwal city today, Assistant Commissioner Sahiwal Rana Aurangzeb visited the field to ensure proper drainage in urban areas.

He specifically inspected the Kacha Pakka, Noorshah, and Farid Town disposal stations. AC instructed the staff that he would not tolerate any negligence in the drainage process.

During the visit, he reviewed the performance of the concerned departments. He expressed satisfaction that all disposal stations were fully functional and effectively working to drain the rainwater.

Assistant Commissioner Rana Aurangzeb stated that the district administration remains fully active to provide immediate relief to citizens during rainfall.

While speaking with the field staff, he emphasized the need to pay special attention to low-lying areas after the rain. It is to ensure prompt action on any complaints.

It is worth noting that due to today’s heavy rainfall in Sahiwal, water had accumulated in some low-lying areas. however, timely action by the district administration helped bring the situation under control quickly.
