IT Association Sahiwal established and inaugurated
The formation of IT Association in Sahiwal will lead to the expansion of IT-related businesses.
Sahiwal (Office of the Director Public Relations, Sahiwal Division – June 19, 2025) Member of the Punjab Assembly, Malik Qasim Nadeem, described the IT sector as the most crucial need of the time.
He said that aligning the younger generation with modern technology has become inevitable, and it is through this that pathways to progress will open.
He termed the establishment of the IT Association in Sahiwal as a significant milestone, saying that its formation will lead to the expansion of IT-related businesses and create employment opportunities.
He expressed these views while addressing the formal inauguration ceremony of the IT Association in Sahiwal.
President of the Sahiwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Azmat Saleem, and former President Sheikh Basharat Nadeem were also present on the occasion.
A large number of individuals associated with the IT sector, including shopkeepers from the computer market, and sellers of laptops, computer accessories, and printers, attended the event.
In his speech, Malik Qasim Nadeem said that Information Technology is the backbone of the economy in today’s era, and the IT community of Sahiwal can play a key role in the country’s development.
President of the Chamber of Commerce, Sheikh Azmat Saleem, administered the oath to the newly elected office bearers to work with honesty and sincerity.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the chief guest was presented with honorary shields, and certificates of appreciation were distributed among the shopkeepers.
