SAHIWAL (Sahiwal Police Spokesperson) Dera Rahim police in Sahiwal have arrested Muhammad Munir, a key office-bearer of the proscribed outfit Tehreek-e-Labbaik, during a raid in Chak 129/9-L.
According to police sources, the suspect had been creating law and order concerns and was actively meeting people and holding gatherings aimed at reviving and organizing the banned group.
Acting on an intelligence report, police conducted a raid on Sunday and arrested Muhammad Munir from his residence. He has been taken into custody and shifted to the lock-up for further legal action.
Police officials added that several associates of the arrested suspect had already been apprehended earlier in similar operations.
