Mob attacks Sahiwal police with sticks and stones during raid

Sahiwal (Sahiwal News – Muhammad Inam): A police mobile van of Noor Shah Police Station was attacked on Saturday morning in Village 51/GD when police officials were present at the site to investigate a registered case.
According to details, when ASI Amir Ishaq reached the house of the suspects named in a case filed by Latif Nool, an armed mob comprising around 15 men and women attacked the police party with sticks and bamboo rods and pelted stones at the police vehicle.
The identified attackers include Aftab Alam, Maqsood Ahmed, Bilal, Nasreen, and Sana. Following the attack, ASI Amir Ishaq sought assistance from the Elite Force; however, the suspects managed to flee before additional personnel arrived.
A case has been registered on the complaint of ASI Amir Ishaq under Sections 427, 506, 353, 148, and 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
District Police Officer (DPO) Usman Tipu has confirmed that four suspects have been arrested, while raids are ongoing to apprehend the remaining accused.
