SAHIWAL – In a move to ensure administrative transparency and improve law enforcement efficiency, District Police Officer (DPO) Sahiwal, Mohammad Usman Tippu, conducted a surprise late-night visit to the Ghalla Mandi Police Station.

During his visit, the DPO meticulously reviewed various departments of the police station to assess the quality of service delivery. Key areas of his inspection included:
Front Desk & Record Keeping: He checked the digital and physical records to ensure all FIRs and daily diaries were updated according to legal protocols.
Detention Facilities: The DPO inspected the lock-up (Havalaat) to verify the condition of suspects under custody, focusing on security measures and hygiene standards.
Evidence Room (Maal Khana): He reviewed the storage and management of recovered property and evidence related to ongoing cases.

DPO Mohammad Usman Tippu issued stern instructions to the station staff regarding their conduct with the general public. He emphasized that the police force must prioritize merit, transparency, and the rule of law.
“Negligence in duty, professional misconduct, or any form of corruption will not be tolerated. Our primary mission is to provide immediate and transparent relief to the citizens,” stated the DPO.
