Brutality in Okara: Man Cuts Off Wife’s Nose Over Domestic Dispute

OKARA (Special Representative): In a harrowing incident reported within the jurisdiction of Gogera Police Station, a man allegedly cut off his wife’s nose following a domestic grievance at her parents’ home in Mauza Masoor.

The police have registered a case under serious legal provisions based on the victim’s statement. Taking strict notice of the incident, District Police Officer (DPO) Okara has ordered the immediate arrest of the suspects.

Background of the Incident

According to details, the victim, identified as Khurshid Bibi, had left her husband’s house following a dispute and was residing with her parents in Mauza Masoor. Yesterday, her husband, Muhammad Nawaz, accompanied by several armed accomplices, reportedly stormed the residence.

The Brutal Assault

The First Information Report (FIR) states that Nawaz and his associates entered the house and subjected Khurshid Bibi to severe physical violence. In an act of extreme brutality, Nawaz used a sharp-edged tool to cut off his wife’s nose before fleeing the scene with his accomplices.

The injured woman was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where medical staff have described her condition as critical.

Police Action and DPO’s Directive

Upon receiving the report, Gogera Police registered a formal case against the perpetrators. DPO Okara, Dr. Assad Ejaz Malhi, strongly condemned the assault, stating:

“Violence against women will not be tolerated under any circumstances. No individual is permitted to take the law into their own hands.”

The DPO has directed police teams to utilize all available resources to ensure the swift apprehension of the suspects. Raids are currently being conducted at various locations, and authorities remain confident that the culprits will be in custody soon.
