Additional Deputy Commissioner General Niaz Ahmad Mughal paid a surprise visit to Sahiwal Teaching Hospital.
He conducted a detailed review of the medical facilities being provided to patients. ADC checked cleanliness arrangements and the behavior of the staff. Medical Superintendent Dr. Yadullah also accompanied him.
Niaz Ahmad Mughal visited various wards of the hospital and inquired about the condition of the patients under treatment. He met directly with the patients’ attendants to gather information about the availability of medicines, treatment, and other facilities.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner General directed the hospital administration to ensure the provision of free medicines to every patient without exception.
He stated that no negligence in the treatment of patients would be tolerated.
ADC further instructed that the cleanliness in the hospital should be improved. Doctors and paramedical staff must treat every patient with courtesy and compassion.
