PAKPATTAN (January 2026) – The Election Commission has officially notified the results for the District Bar Association (DBA) Pakpattan annual elections 2026, announcing Advocate Rana Amjad Ilyas as the new President and Advocate Yasir Arafat Gujjar as the General Secretary.

According to the official notification, the polling saw a high level of engagement from the legal fraternity. The results for the key positions are as follows:
President: Rana Amjad Ilyas secured the seat with 556 votes. His opponent, Farhat Shaheen Advocate, stood second with 362 votes.
General Secretary: Yasir Arafat Gujjar achieved a landslide victory by obtaining 779 votes, while his rival, Muhammad Iqbal Sial Advocate, managed to secure 135 votes.
Voter Turnout and Statistics
The democratic process was marked by active participation from the members of the bar. Out of the total registered voters, 921 lawyers cast their ballots. During the final count, 12 votes were rejected due to technical errors, while the rest were declared valid.
