OKARA – The Pakistan Army has officially announced a new recruitment drive for youth belonging to the districts of Okara, Sahiwal, and Pakpattan. This recruitment cycle offers a golden opportunity for young citizens to join the military in various roles, including Soldier, Technical Trades, and Clerical positions.
According to the official notification, the recruitment process will be conducted at the Army Selection and Recruitment Office (AS&RO) Okara from March 2 to May 22, 2026.
Vacancies and Educational Requirements
The recruitment covers a diverse range of categories tailored to different educational backgrounds:
Soldier: Matriculation or higher.
Technical Trade: Matric Science (Grade A or B) or higher.
Clerk: Intermediate or higher (Candidates with computer diplomas and higher education will be prioritized).
Cook: Minimum Middle pass (Preference given to those with cooking experience).
Sanitary Worker: Uneducated or Primary pass.
Physical and Age Standards
Candidates must meet the following criteria as of May 22, 2026:

Note: Special age relaxations of 1 to 2 years are available for graduates, children of martyrs (Shaheed), war-wounded personnel, and retired/serving army officers.
Mandatory Documents for Registration
Interested candidates must bring the following documents to the recruitment center:
Original educational certificates with two attested photocopies.
Four passport-size photographs.
Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or B-Form with two photocopies.
Two photocopies of Father’s CNIC.
Original Domicile with two photocopies.

Eligible candidates can register online via the official portal at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk until May 15, 2026. Alternatively, applicants can visit the AS&RO Okara for manual registration between March 2 and May 22, 2026.
