Okara: SHO Satghara Shot and Injured by Police Constable During Patrol

OKARA – In a shocking turn of events, a police constable opened fire on the Station House Officer (SHO) of Satghara Police Station Okara, leaving him seriously wounded during a joint patrol.

Incident Details

The incident occurred while Sub-Inspector Tariq, the SHO of Satghara Police Station, and Constable Abdullah were on routine mobile patrol. According to reports, a heated argument broke out between the two officers, which escalated into violence.

Constable Abdullah allegedly pulled out his weapon and fired at the SHO. Sub-Inspector Tariq was struck in the stomach by the gunfire.

Emergency Response and Condition

Immediately after the shooting, the injured SHO was rushed to the hospital.

Manhunt and Arrest

Following the assault, Constable Abdullah managed to flee the scene. However, the DPO immediately ordered the formation of special teams to track him down.
