Additional Deputy Commissioner General Niaz Ahmed Mughal paid a surprise visit to Government Haji Abdul Qayyum District Headquarters Hospital.
ADC Niaz Ahmed Mughal inquired about the condition of patients admitted in various wards. On this occasion, he spoke with the patients’ attendants. He gathered information about the availability of medical facilities, medicines, and the behavior of the hospital staff.
Niaz Ahmed Mughal directed the hospital administration to ensure the free and quality provision of medicines to every incoming patient. He stressed that negligence or laziness in this regard would not be tolerated.
He further stated that, on the special instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, citizens are being provided with the best possible medical facilities. A substantial amount is being spent by the Punjab government for this purpose.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner also instructed the hospital staff to treat patients with courtesy and to further improve cleanliness and hygiene standards in the hospital.
He added that the district administration is fully active in strengthening the public health system.
