Trump Jr. Engaged to Palm Beach Socialite Bettina Anderson

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has confirmed that his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., is engaged to Bettina Anderson, a well-known Palm Beach socialite, according to a report by The New York Times published late Monday.

The engagement was disclosed during a White House holiday gathering, where President Trump shared the news with guests. No official statement has yet been issued by Donald Trump Jr., and Reuters said it was unable to immediately reach his representatives for comment.

Bettina Anderson is a prominent figure in Palm Beach’s social circles and is often associated with high-profile charity events and elite gatherings in Florida. She comes from a well-connected background and is known for her involvement in philanthropic and cultural activities, media reports said.

This marks the third engagement for Donald Trump Jr., who has been a visible figure in Republican politics and business ventures associated with the Trump family. He was previously married to Vanessa Trump, a former model and actress, for 12 years. The couple shares five children and finalized their divorce in 2018.

Following his divorce, Trump Jr. became engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle, a television personality and former Fox News host who later took on an active role in Republican political fundraising. That engagement eventually ended.

According to multiple media reports, Trump Jr. and Anderson have been in a relationship for about a year. The couple has made several public appearances together and recently traveled to Udaipur, India, where they attended a high-profile wedding celebration last month, fueling speculation about their engagement.

The announcement has drawn attention both in political and social circles, reflecting the continued public interest in the personal lives of the Trump family.
