SAHIWAL: On the special directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Sahiwal, Mohammad Usman Tippu, the Sahiwal Police have implemented comprehensive security arrangements for the annual elections of the District Bar Sahiwal and Chichawatni Bar. The measures aim to ensure that voters can cast their ballots in a peaceful and secure environment.
To maintain law and order, more than 200 police officers and personnel have been deployed across the district. A rigorous monitoring and checking system has been established at all entry and exit points of the polling venues.
On-Site Inspections
To oversee the security implementation:
SP Investigation Sahiwal, Farooq Anwar, visited the Sahiwal Bar.
SDPO Chichawatni Circle, Mohammad Saleem, inspected the Chichawatni Courts.
During their visits, the officers briefed the on-duty personnel, instructing them to remain high-alert and ensuring that security protocols are followed without compromise.
“Maintaining peace during the legal community’s elections is a top priority for Sahiwal Police. All available resources are being utilized to prevent any untoward incidents,” stated DPO Mohammad Usman Tippu.
According to the Sahiwal Police spokesperson, the force remains committed to protecting the democratic process and ensuring the safety of all participants throughout the election day.
