CCD Sahiwal arrests youth with illegal Kalashnikov

CCD Sahiwal has taken effective action against the display of “Weapons and Dala Culture” and arrested a youth with illegal Kalashnikov.
As part of its ongoing crackdown on the public display of weapons and the so-called “Dala Culture,” the Crime Control Department (CCD) Sahiwal is taking raids.
Under the supervision of Inspector Saeed Ahmed Siyal, CCD Sahiwal conducted snap checking near T-2 Night, Sahiwal. During the operation, one suspect was arrested and an illegal Kalashnikov along with 8 live bullets was recovered.
The arrested individual has been identified as Ikram Khan, son of Liaqat, belonging to the Baloch caste and a resident of Chak No. 69/4-R Sahiwal.
Recovered weapon has been taken into custody according to the law, and a case has been registered at CCD Police Station, Sahiwal.
The CCD Sahiwal spokesperson has stated that indiscriminate operations against weapon display, intimidation, and all forms of “Dala Culture” will continue to ensure peace and order in society.
