Three Inter-District Robbers Killed in Encounter with CCD Police Sahiwal

SAHIWAL (CCD Spokesperson) – The Crime Control Department (CCD) Sahiwal has neutralized three high-profile members of a notorious inter-district shop robbery gang during a fierce police encounter late last night.
The operation, conducted based on a verified intelligence tip-off, took place on Old Harappa Road, resulting in the death of three suspects wanted for dozens of criminal cases across the province.
The Encounter Near LBDC Bridge
According to the CCD spokesperson, the tactical team received information that the suspects were traveling in a white Corolla. The team intercepted the vehicle near the LBDC Bridge at Kol Wala Bungalow.
Upon being signaled to stop, the suspects opened indiscriminate fire on the police party. The CCD team took defensive positions and returned fire. Once the shootout subsided, the police found all three robbers dead at the scene. Preliminary evidence suggests the suspects were fatally wounded by bullets fired by their own accomplices during the chaotic exchange.

The deceased suspects were identified as hardened criminals with extensive records in multiple districts:

The CCD has recovered weapons and the vehicle used in the crimes. Further investigations are underway to track down any remaining facilitators of the gang.
