Brother of MNA Ch. Tufail Jutt Passes Away; Funeral Attended by Hundreds

CHICHAWATNI (News Desk): Ch. Muhammad Iqbal Numberdar, the elder brother of former Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Ch. Arshad Jatt, has passed away. He was the brother of MNA Ch. Muhammad Tufail Jutt, MPA Ch. Muhammad Hanif Jutt, and retired SP Ch. Muhammad Sharif. His funeral, held at Rai Ali Nawaz Cricket Stadium across from Azadi Chowk, saw a massive gathering of mourners from all walks of life.
Large Attendance at Funeral Prayers
The funeral prayers were led by Mufti Zaheer Ahmed Babar Faridi, Khatib of Noor-ul-Masajid. The event drew a significant number of political and social figures, including:
Political Leaders: MPA Pir Walait Shah Khagga, Major (R) Ghulam Sarwar, and former MNAs Ch. Muhammad Munir Azhar, Shehzad Saeed Cheema and Qaisar Naeem Azam.
Administration & Police: Additional Commissioner Revenue Gujrat Qaisar Naeem Azam and DSP Saleem Rath.
Community Representatives: President of Chichawatni Press Club Ch. Ali Raza Sandhu, General Secretary Ch. Shahbaz Hussain Kamboh, and President of the Central Association of Traders Hafiz Muhammad Bilal.
Notable Figures: Ch. Muhammad Arshad Faruqi Gujjar, Dr. Masood Usman, Pir Ihsan-ul-Haq Idrees, and PML-N leader Ch. Abdul Naeem Jatt, alongside numerous lawyers, journalists, and religious scholars.
Burial and Quran Khawani
Following the prayers, the deceased was laid to rest in the presence of hundreds of grieving relatives and citizens.
A Quran Khawani (prayer service) for the departed soul will be held on Thursday, January 22, at 10:00 AM. The ceremony will take place at the family residence located at Wali Jutt Chowk.
