Armed attackers attempted to kidnap a girl in Sahiwal and shot on her father’s leg who was resisting.
According to details, five armed men broke into a landlord’s house in the suburban village Chak 111/9-L of Sahiwal at around 2 AM last night.
The suspects attempted to abduct a girl named Kiran. When her father, Javed, resisted, they shot him. He was later shifted to the hospital in an injured condition.
The armed attackers included Hassan Ali, Ali Sanpal, and other unidentified individuals. The affected family had already filed a case against the suspects with the police. The suspects committed this crime again to force the family to withdraw the previous case.
Yousafwala Police Station Sahiwal has registered a case under sections 199, 148, and 324 of the Pakistan Penal Code on the complaint of the girl’s uncle, Ghulam Abbas. So far, the suspects have not been arrested.
