SAHIWAL (News Reporter) — Commissioner Sahiwal Division, Dr. Asif Tufail, has issued a strong condemnation regarding the unfortunate incident of harassment and physical assault on a Punjab Food Authority (PFA) team in Village 67/D, Pakpattan. The Commissioner expressed these views during a meeting with the Director General of Punjab Food Authority, Muhammad Asim Javed, at his office. The discussion focused on the recent incident in Pakpattan and broader strategies to improve food quality standards across the Sahiwal division.

The incident occurred in Village 67/D of Pakpattan when a PFA team, conducting routine milk sampling, was taken hostage by miscreants. The staff, including a female officer, were subjected to physical violence.

Current Status of Investigation:

  • The administration took immediate notice and registered a formal case (FIR).
