ATC Sahiwal Grants 5-Day Physical Remand of 13 TLP Leaders from Arifwala

SAHIWAL – The Special Judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Sahiwal, Ziaullah Khan, has granted a five-day physical remand of 13 local leaders of the proscribed Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) and handed them over to the Arifwala City Police for further investigation.
Court Proceedings
During the hearing, the police produced the arrested activists before the court, seeking their custody to complete the interrogation process. After reviewing the police’s request, Judge Ziaullah Khan approved the physical remand for 13 individuals.
The court has directed the investigation officer to complete the probe and produce the suspects again on January 21.
The 13 Remanded Leaders Include:
Muhammad Latif, Hafiz Gulzar Ahmed, Sohail Akhtar, and Muhammad Rafiq.
Ali Hasan, Muhammad Imran Munawar, Ahmed Mujtaba, and Usman Nazir.
Waqas Haider, Yousaf Riaz, Bismillah, Muhammad Nawaz, and Muhammad Imran.
Three Suspects Discharged
In the same proceeding, the court ordered the immediate release of three other TLP workers: Ghulam Mustafa, Muhammad Ahmed, and Waseem Atari. The judge discharged them from the case after they were not identified during the formal identification parade.
