Sahiwal Arts Council has achieved another remarkable milestone by becoming the first Arts Council in Punjab to be the subject of a comprehensive MPhil-level research thesis focusing on its literary and cultural activities.
This thesis was completed by Sadia Younis, a scholar from the Department of Urdu at Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, under the supervision of Dr. Zafar Hussain Harl.
The research outline was presented by renowned professor and researcher Dr. Khawar Nawazish, and the work was completed under the guidance of Dr. Farzana Kokab, Head of the Urdu Department.
The thesis documents the cultural and intellectual activities organized by the Sahiwal Arts Council under the leadership of Dr. Syed Riaz Hamdani. It includes events highlighting the Harappan Civilization, tributes to Majid Amjad, and literary conferences.
Dr. Syed Riaz Hamdani has declared this research effort a milestone in the intellectual and cultural history of the region.
