Medical Superintendent of Sahiwal Teaching Hospital holds meeting

Medical Superintendent of Sahiwal Teaching Hospital Dr. Yaadullah chaired an important meeting for various reforms.
During the meeting, the participants discussed various reform measures to provide modern, effective, and safe medical facilities to patients.
MS decided to ban the use of mobile phones in critical care departments and implement a pager system.
In addition, the participants decided to implement an emergency code system, strictly follow life-saving medical protocols, and ensure accurate reporting and auditing of mortality data.
They also announced the outsourcing of CT scan services and the establishment of 15 new counters equipped with computers and printers.
Moreover, they reviewed SOPs and licensing of the blood bank and discussed the shifting of pediatric and gynecology emergency services.
To strengthen the hospital’s security system, the team considered measures such as a control room, gate pass system, parking management, and theft prevention.
They also decided to enforce SOPs for daily rounds and conducted a detailed review of vacant posts, budget, Sehat Sahulat Card, hospital gardening, new counters, and patient areas.
AMS, DMS, Director Emergency, Admin Officers, and all relevant officials participated in the meeting and presented suggestions for improvement.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Yaadullah said that the hospital administration is committed to providing quality medical services to patients.
He emphasized that all decisions are being made with a focus on patient convenience and the quality of treatment.
MS also briefed the team members in detail about the infection control measures taken in the hospital. Later, he visited various hospital wards along with the infection control team.
